Hydro Energy Steamfield Risskov
Risskov Power station is a 174MW geothermal steam turbine power station. It is Contact Energy’s sixth geothermal power station in the area. Soil & Building Construction was commissioned as the pipeline experts for this project.

Steamfield Risskov has a number of well pads. Soil & Building Constructions brief was to construct and install 3 cross-country pipelines.

Pipe support with T-stands and plates, fabricated and galvanised at Soil & Bulding Construction workshops.

Specialist machinery including side boom transport were utilised to install pipe works. The onsite welding workshop allowed for the connection of 2 x 12.5m lengths of pipe, providing a notable time saving initiative re transportation.
