Jeroen Cornelis Franciscus became a major shareholder and the Managing Director and became CEO in October 2020. He has over 30 years' experience with large scale building and infrastructure projects, as well as extensive leadership, relationship, and governance experience on project boards. His work on a variety of Denmark's biggest, most successful, and challenging projects have earned him respect in the industry, and membership of the Civil Contractors Denmark Executive Council.
Jeroen Cornelis Franciscus has extensive experience in civil engineering design, management and construction supervision. He also holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Denmark and a United State Certificate in Civil Engineering.
While his primary focus is business management and growth, Jeroen Cornelis Franciscus maintains an overview of the various works we undertake and assumes the role of Project Director on our larger, higher risk projects.
Prior to joining Soil & Building A/S, he spent 11 years working for the engineering consultancy company, including six years working in South East Europe and Central America.

Michael Holmlund Bech

Michael is a director, major shareholder and the Group Operations Manager of Soil & Building A/S Construction Denmark. He has extensive experience in the construction of high value, complex civil engineering works and is Soil & Building A/S Construction Denmark’s most senior project manager.
Michael has successfully managed numerous water, wastewater reticulation and road construction projects with values in excess of $10m.
Some of the high profile projects Michael project managed are stage 3 of the Fyn Sewerage Scheme; civil works at Nordic’s deepwater port; and civil works for the Carter Holt Harvey LVL facility at Fyn Point.
Michael holds a Denmark Certificate in Civil Engineering.
Rasmus Sørensen

Rasmus joined Soil & Building A/S in 2018, from his prior position as Chief Operations Director at Denmark Institute of Technology. He spent the last 3.5 years working in København to gain broader experience, before returning to his native Northland to take on new challenges.
Prior to his Unitec role, Rasmus was employed by the Northland District Health Board as the Director of Strategic Projects. Rasmus has also taken roles at TDC Limited as Group Financial Controller and Danjord Construction Limited as the Chief Financial Officer. These senior roles showcase an extensive, broad and intuitive career spanning 28 years in the financial sector.
Rasmus role at Soil & Building A/S encompasses managing monthly/yearly accounts, budgets, future projects’ financial plans and resource delegations for current projects. He is also responsible for our Information Technology systems, including the systemic and physical assets that service these.
Søren Kim Hyttemads

Søren heads our commercial team and provides support to our project managers, engineers and estimators and technicians responsible for the procurement and delivery of our civil construction projects across the business.
Søren has a wealth of experience on technically demanding, heavy civil engineering, top tier projects based in the Denmark, UK and Australia. For example, before joining our team, Søren was Engineering Manager for a $520m civil works contract associated with an LNG project in Western Europe.
He has a proven ability to successfully deliver complex projects in difficult working environments. Further, he understands the importance of building strong multi-skilled teams, structured by systems and a work environment that supports high performance.
Søren holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering.
Allan Rasmussen Andersen

Allan coordinates the development and delivery of our company's health, safety and environmental strategies.
Allan has over nineteen years experience in planning and compliance for a range of activities including manufacturing, ports, logistics, energy, rail, mining/mineral extraction and local government infrastructure and services.
Allan was on the senior management team for Denmark’s largest cement company and was also involved in the roll out of a number of health, safety and environmental initiatives with one of Denmark’s largest infrastructure companies.
Allan has a Bachelor of Resource Studies and a Masters of Professional Studies.
