The circuit must have diverted the supply from part of the existing transmission line, with a diameter of ø323/450 mm, located in the emergency lane at the E45 on the Aarhus Syd motorway, to a new transmission line with a diameter of ø325/560 mm, located away from the motorway.

Reconnection to the existing flow meter structure and clamping is necessary as part of this process.

The existing pipeline is a high-pressure pipeline with a pressure rating of PN 25 and a temperature of 125°C. As part of this work, heat prestressing must be carried out in 8 sections. This means that the pipeline can only be covered after heat prestressing, so that the pipeline can expand freely in the trench. This makes the project more time-consuming and requires careful planning.

The pipeline is located at varying depths and with a slope, as vent and drain valves must be installed. This involves more earthwork and handling.

There is a section of approximately 500 meters where the cable must be placed along a forest path with a width of approximately 5 meters. The work on this section will be more complicated, as it can only be accessed from the ends.

Heat prestressing 8 stretches
Installation of 200 m foam pads
Restoration of over 25,000 m² of field areas
Restoration of approximately 400 m of forest path through protected forest
